Dr. Derrick Witmer

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Derrick Witmer earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Campbellsville University School of Chiropractic. Prior to pursuing his doctorate, he attended Eastern Kentucky University, where he majored in Biology and built a strong foundation in human anatomy, physiology, and movement science.

Throughout his professional journey, Dr. Witmer has focused on delivering patient-centered, results-driven care. With a strong background in biological sciences and hands-on clinical training, he works with patients of all ages, helping them overcome pain, improve mobility, and optimize overall function. His clinical interests include musculoskeletal rehabilitation, performance-based care, and corrective strategies designed to address the root cause of dysfunction rather than simply treating symptoms.

Dr. Witmer believes chiropractic care should be proactive, not just reactive. His philosophy centers on identifying underlying imbalances, restoring proper biomechanics, and empowering patients through education and movement. He incorporates evidence-informed chiropractic adjustments, rehabilitative exercises, and individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals—whether that’s returning to sport, staying active with family, or simply living pain-free.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Witmer enjoys staying active and involved in his community. He coaches a local youth wrestling team, where he mentors young athletes not only in sport but in discipline and confidence. He also enjoys golfing, hiking, and spending time outdoors. His passion for athletics and movement carries over into his practice, where he understands firsthand the importance of maintaining a healthy, resilient body.

Dr. Witmer chose chiropractic because of his passion for natural healthcare and his desire to help people improve their quality of life without relying solely on medications or invasive procedures. His background in biology sparked a fascination with how the body heals and adapts when properly supported, and chiropractic offered a hands-on way to make a direct, meaningful impact on patients’ lives.

He is committed to providing high-quality, individualized care in a welcoming environment where patients feel heard and valued. Dr. Witmer’s goal is not only to relieve pain but to equip patients with the tools, knowledge, and strategies they need to maintain long-term health and performance.
